What is a Taster Package?

The Taster Package offers a no-obligation way to get professional photos of your dog.

It’s designed for the following scenarios:

• As a free trial, with no commitment before upgrading to a Four Seasons Package.

• For dog-walking visitors to Canton Zurich who may only attend one or a few Walkies Sessions.

• For participation in a Pack Event without requiring a Four Seasons membership.

• For those looking to obtain just a few high-quality professional photos of their beloved companion at the lowest possible cost.

How does the process work for trying a Taster Session?

1. Check the Schedule: Look at my Walkies Session calendar to find out when and where the scheduled shoots are taking place. Choose a session that fits your and your dog's walking schedule. You can let me know in advance if you plan to attend, but it's not necessary—you can also show up spontaneously.

2. Provide Your Email: Ideally, before the shoot (or at the latest during the shoot), please provide me with an email address so I can set up an online gallery for you. You can find the action to request a Taster Package setup on the ZGCDogs homepage.

3. Photo Shoot: During the session, your dog will have a 5-10 minute photo shoot.

4. Access Your Gallery: Within 1-2 days, the photos will be available in an online gallery exclusive to your dog. You need to provide an email address to access this private gallery, which will be accessible only to you. The photos in the gallery will be watermarked and cannot be downloaded without purchase.

5. Purchase Photos: You can buy full-quality digital photos online for 30 CHF each, or smaller photos at lower prices.

6. Upgrade to Four Seasons Package: If you decide to upgrade to a Four Seasons Package within two months of your first Taster Session, any photo purchases will be credited at 75% towards the Four Seasons Package fee. Your Taster photo gallery will be migrated to the Four Seasons members area, all watermarks will be removed, and you'll gain full-quality download access to all your photos. You can also extend gallery access to selected friends and family. 

7. After Two Months: If you wait longer than two months to upgrade to Four Seasons, your Taster gallery will remain unchanged, and a new Four Seasons gallery will be created for any new photos. Alternatively, you can opt to pay a pro-rata fee based on the Waggy Tail package to migrate your photos.

Is the Taster Package really free?

Participating in one or more Walkies Sessions is free, and the Taster Package allows you to have a private online gallery set up for photos of your dog. 

However, the photos in the gallery are watermarked and can only be downloaded in an unwatermarked format if purchased. 

Prices for photos range from 10 to 30 CHF, depending on the file size and resolution.

When is the Taster Package the best option?

The Taster Package is ideal if you want to test or evaluate the ZGCDogs service, or if you anticipate purchasing 10 or fewer high-quality photos within a year and are not interested in Pack Events or other GPP photography services.

Is the Taster Package relevant for those outside of canton Zurich?

Absolutely! If you’re visiting canton Zurich and can attend a Walkies Session, the Taster Package can be a great option. 

Alternatively, you can request a Private Session for a longer photo shoot at a specific location during your visit.

What results can I expect from a 5-10 minute Walkies Session Taster photo-shoot?

The number of photos uploaded to your private gallery after a Walkies Session Taster shoot will vary based on several factors, including the shoot's theme, duration, and your dog's interactions. 

That said, you can generally expect to receive around 5 to 10 photos from most Walkies Session Taster shoots.

Where and when will my Taster package photos be available?

Photos are usually uploaded to your private online gallery on my photo gallery website within 1-2 days following a Walkies Session or Pack Event.

Please note that you'll need to provide an email address to have your private gallery set up.

How does the online gallery work for the Taster Package?

Photos of your dog taken during a Walkies Session or Pack Event are uploaded to your private gallery, which requires you to provide an email address for login access. 

The online photos are watermarked and only accessible through your email login. 

You can purchase digital downloads (unwatermarked) for 10 to 30 CHF, depending on the file size and image resolution.

How much do photos cost within the Taster Package?

10 - 30 CHF per photo, depending on filesize & image resolution.

How & when can I upgrade from a Taster package to a Four Seasons package?

If you choose to upgrade to a Four Seasons Package within two months of participating in your first Taster Session, any photo purchases will be credited at 75% towards the Four Seasons Package fee. Your dog's Taster photo gallery will be transferred to the Four Seasons members area, all watermarks will be removed, and you'll gain full-quality download access to all your photos. You can also extend gallery access to selected friends, family, and other specified individuals. 

If you wait longer than two months to upgrade to Four Seasons, your Taster gallery will remain unchanged, and a new Four Seasons gallery will be created for new photos. Alternatively, you can opt to pay a pro-rata fee based on the Waggy Tail package to have your photos migrated.
